Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our clinic immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a small, supportive team environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take detailed patient charts and accurately document medical histories
• Follow PDMP (Prescription Drug Monitoring Program) protocols to ensure safe medication practices
• Prepare and maintain thorough patient records and documentation
• Complete prior authorizations for medications
• Assist providers with patient care and clinic procedures
• Support patients with questions regarding their medical care
• Collaborate closely with the care team

Qualifications:

• Certified or experienced Medical Assistant preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with PDMP protocols, prior authorizations, and medical documentation preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay (commensurate with experience)

• After 90 days probationary period, 80 hours of vacation/sick time
