Chai Care is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Medical Assistant to join our team at our Staten Island location. This role is for the evening shift and is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Perform routine clinical tasks, including EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient care
• Provide excellent patient service and support a positive patient experience

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required
• Strong clinical and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
