Are you passionate about patient care and ready to take the next step in your healthcare career? NSU (Nova Southeastern University) is hiring a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at NSU Health in Fort Lauderdale!

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll support daily clinic operations and assist physicians in delivering exceptional care. You’ll play a key role in patient interactions, vital sign measurements, procedure preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Interview patients and update health/medication history in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Assist with medical procedures, exams, and specimen collection
• Educate patients on services and next steps
• Monitor supply inventory and maintain exam room readiness
• Support a safe, efficient clinical environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or recent graduate from an approved MA program
• Experience with EHR systems and medical terminology
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Bonus if you have phlebotomy experience or familiarity with NextGen software
