Job Summary
Join our allergy clinic team, where you'll support our allergists with both patient care and daily clinic operations. You'll assist with allergy testing, immunotherapy injections, and other clinical tasks that keep our practice running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake procedures, including medical history collection and vital signs documentation (blood pressure, temperature, and pulse).
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all supplies and equipment are readily available for provider use.
- Accurately document patient information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Perform allergy skin tests, patch tests, pulmonary function tests, and drug/oral food challenges.
- Prepare and mix antigens following proper clinical guidelines.
- Process prior authorizations through Cover My Meds and manage biologic medication documentation, both incoming and outgoing.
- Handle all back-office phone calls and respond to voicemails in a timely manner on a daily basis.
- Maintain medical supply inventory and oversee the ordering of clinical supplies as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
- Strong proficiency with EHR systems and accurate medical documentation.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate, professional approach to diverse patient populations.
- Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs collection, and medication administration.
- Willingness to cross-train and provide coverage across all clinic positions as needed.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
