Community Physicians of Westchester is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing concierge internal medicine practice.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a team of highly respected physicians who are passionate about delivering exceptional, personalized care. As a concierge practice, we value building meaningful relationships with our patients and providing an outstanding healthcare experience that goes above and beyond traditional medicine.

We are a new and growing practice looking for team members who are positive, adaptable, and excited to help build something special from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients with warmth and professionalism
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies
• Assist physicians during patient visits and procedures
• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical duties as appropriate
• Manage prescription refill requests and prior authorizations
• Coordinate referrals, testing, and follow-up care
• Communicate with patients regarding results, appointments, and care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (Athenahealth experience preferred)
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient care
• Provide an exceptional patient experience through outstanding customer service and attention to detail
• Assist with additional clinical and administrative responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion
• Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
