Medical Assistant

Overview:

• Prepares patients for examination and treatment.
• Takes patient histories and vital signs and is able to document on an electronic medical record.
• Should be able to Measure Range of Motion of the extremities and document them on an electronic medical record.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and dressing supplies.
• Must be able to Refill Medications.
• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments.
• Assists with scheduling of medical test treatments and subspecialty evaluations.
• Return patient phone calls.
• Make appointments.

Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant program is preferred
• One year of experience in a physician practice or clinic setting is preferred
• Needs to be computer literate
• Orthopedic practice literacy is preferred

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
