At McCrimmon Primary Care Plus, medical assistants play a vital role in patient care. We strive to provide a compressive and positive experience for every patient.

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced candidate with a passion for healthcare. Our practice provides opportunities for growth professionally and clinically.

Our practice provides a unique experience for patients with a variety of providers with areas of expertise in specialties all under one roof of primary care. We offer: adult, teen and pediatrics care, sports medicine, x-ray, immunotherapy and lab services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Escort patients to and from exam and treatment rooms
  • Triage patients
  • Administer vaccines and injections
  • Record patient vitals and history
  • Assist providers with exams and procedures
  • Stock and prepare exam rooms
  • Relay messages between providers and patients
  • Complete prior authorizations and other administrative related tasks

Qualifications and Experience

  • One of the following active certifications: RMA, CMA, CNA or EMT
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • High School Diploma

Schedule Requirements

  • Full-time position (32, 36 or 40 hours per week)
  • Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM o Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 12-hour weekday shifts and rotating 6-hour weekend shifts

  • Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
  • Detail-oriented with strong computer and EMR proficiency (preferably eClinicalWorks)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity

  • Adhere to all McCrimmon Primary Care Plus policies and procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with Patient Coordinators, providers, and leadership
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and dressed in accordance with office standards
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to team morale
  • Support teammates and adjust to office needs as required

Physical Requirements

  • Must occasionally stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, or reach Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Must have adequate visual acuity (close, distance, peripheral, color, depth) and focus adjustment Disclaimer

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
