Full-Time Medical Assistant Needed – Family Practice

Location: 6336 Chapman Hwy Knoxville 37920

Schedule: 32 hours a week

Position Type: Full-Time

We are a busy, independently owned family practice seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing personalized patient care in a supportive, non-corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vital signs

Document patient information in the EMR (Elation)

Assist providers with patient care and procedures

Perform injections, EKGs, lab draws, and point-of-care testing (as applicable)

Handle patient calls, referrals, and medication refill requests

Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies

Support front office duties as needed

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant experience preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

EMR (Elation) experience preferred

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
