Licensed medical providers translate comprehensive assessments and personal goals into personalized care plans focused on optimal health. Plans may include traditional, hormone, peptide, regenerative, and lifestyle medicine. Care is delivered in person at our state-of-the-art clinics and supported through telemedicine and digital tools.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant for our Humanaut Health clinic in Palm Desert, California. As the MA, you will be responsible for assisting our patients with their clinical needs and supporting our MDs and NPs with delivering care. If you have a strong background and skill in customer service, phlebotomy, medical process/terminology, and well-rounded clinical skills, as well as an interest in health and wellness services, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare relevant patient information for clinical staff to treat patients
  • Ensure patient information is properly managed in EMR system
  • Coordinate patient care between physician/NP and clinical staff
  • Assist with appointment management and scheduling
  • Work directly with physicians to ensure clinic and patient needs are met
  • Complete designated clinical tasks, including taking vitals and relevant histories, performing diagnostic tests, and completing some treatment appointments
  • Answer questions from patients and provide guidance and follow-up from appointments
  • Perform phlebotomy
  • Inventory of supplies
  • Provide exceptional, concierge-level customer service to each patient

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Medical Assistant/Technician or similar role
  • Experience in phlebotomy and minor lab processing
  • Organized and effective communicator
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable, consistent teammate
  • Experience working with high-end clientele or luxury hospitality a plus
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with EMR experience preferred
  • Full-time, in-clinic, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Must be willing and able to commute to our clinic
