Coastal Health is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing Spine & Pain team in Yulee, Florida . Our providers deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care using the latest treatments and technology to help patients manage acute and chronic pain.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication reconciliation
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during office visits and procedures
• Administer injections and perform other clinical duties within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments
• Answer patient questions and provide education as directed by providers
• Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and equipment
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
• Work collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure exceptional patient care
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a medical office required; Spine & Pain, Orthopedics, or specialty practice experience preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
