Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $32.86 - $41.01 (Hourly Rate).

• This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position
• Medical Terminology
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Successful completion of an approved MA program
• 1 or more years of relevant work experience in hospital/outpatient clinic or equivalent

• Experience performing medical assistant functions in a busy clinic setting.
• Phlebotomy technician/skills
• Bi-Lingual preferred. Prior experience in a medical office environment strongly preferred.
• Cadence and Optime training

• Certification from an approved Medical Assistant program or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
