The Pediatric Infusion center is an outpatient area for oncology and non-oncology patients. This area is staffed by specially trained infusion nurses who collaborate with trained Medical Assistants. We offer patients a soothing and caring environment and is specifically designed for pediatric infusion care with many patient-friendly conveniences, including comfortable patient chairs and DVD players for patient use. When you have a diagnosis that calls for these services you can rely on the Pediatric Infusion clinic to take care of you.

As a Medical Assistant you will function as part of a team to manage patient flow and assist with clinic infusion patient needs at the Children's and Women's Pediatric Infusion center. In this role you will be responsible for:

Hours will typically be scheduled between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, but could be subject to change. We are flexible and ask for flexibility in return. There is also a potential Saturday rotation.

You will be trained within the department by one of our tenured Medical Assistants.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
