Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic wellness team. Responsibilities
- Support compliance with clinic policies, OSHA standards, and HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
- Greet and room patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions; reinforce treatment education and provide emailed or hard copy handouts.
- Answer patient questions and communicate concerns to the provider as needed.
- Support patient follow-up calls and care coordination.
- Take and record accurate patient vitals, medical history, allergies, and medications.
- Assist providers during exams, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection (if applicable to certification).
- Prepare and handle medical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Follow proper sterilization and infection-control protocols.
- Manage patient flow to reduce wait times and maintain schedule efficiency.
- Update and document in the EMR system (PatientNow Pro) in accordance with clinic standards.
- Cover reception- answer phone calls/texts/emails, scan documents, label medications, recieve incoming deliveries, schedule, check in/out, collect payments.
- Opportunity to train up for IV insertion.
Skills
- Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs and medication administration.
- Excellent patient service skills—empathetic communication and the ability to handle diverse patient needs with professionalism.
- Prior clinic experience in wellness and aesthetics settings is highly desirable.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
