Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
Position Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for vitals, injections, basic triage and should be able to assist in minor procedures. In addition, you should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, computers, and phones. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service and have good written/verbal communication skills. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable of routine office procedures, medical instruments, and will screen phone calls from patients for the provider. This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Full Time - Day Shift - M-F - 80 hours per pay period
Team Highlights:
Both Vascular Surgery and Infectious Diseases operate within this clinic location. The CMA or LPN in this role will primarily support the Infectious Disease specialty, with occasional support to Vascular Surgery as needed.
Kootenai Clinic Infectious Disease helps patients diagnose and treat acute and chronic illness due to infectious diseases. We commonly treat patients for complicated UTIs, chronic lung infections, endocarditis, fungal infections, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, immunodeficiencies, meningitis, osteomyelitis, sexually transmitted diseases, skin and soft tissue infections, tickborne diseases, and tuberculosis.
