Build your career while making a difference. Presbyterian is seeking a Medical Assistant I for the Family Practice in Socorro, New Mexico.Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant I provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting the provider with treatments and procedures. Provides support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations. Performs activities to maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment.
