Medical Assistant (MA)

Responsibilities

Assist the physician with patient care
Prepares patients by reviewing patient medical history and taking vitals
Photograph wounds and rashes
Wound care
Assist with in-office procedures
Maintain the cleanliness of rooms
Document records accurately
Follow the guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality
Performs additional administrative duties and projects as needed

Requirements & Skills

License(s): Certified Medical Assistant (CMA; RMA; NCMA; CCMA) required within 6 months of hire
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking
Medical Office Experience preferred
High School Diploma/GED required
BLS certified or obtain within 90 days of hire
1 year of Medical Assisting experience preferred, new graduates are welcome
