Medical Assistant Medford

We have a Medical Assistant position, Monday-Thursday. Looking for a compassionate and caring, experienced medical assistant who is looking for a rewarding long-term position. The primary focus is supporting patient care, assisting physicians with medical examinations, collecting specimens for the lab, and providing patients with information per the physician's instructions. Tasks include scheduling appointments, answering telephones, demonstrating equipment use, preparing examination rooms, and prioritizing patient comfort. Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any unusual conditions to the physician.

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

$18-$21 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient care
• Provides direct care to patients, including assisting with procedures
• Performs exam preparation
• Vitals
• Rooming patient
• Assists with obtaining information for patient care
• Chart prep
• Prior authorizations
• Lab reports
• Clean and stock rooms
• Prescription refills

Additional Task:

• Assist with referrals and other documentation requirements
• Assist with exams
• patient triage calls
• Assist the clinical manager as needed.

Must be able to multitask, detail-oriented, dependable, great with computers, professional, and a team player.

Must pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
