Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications
MUST hold the following certifications:
RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced Neurosurgery practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a specialty setting.
This position plays a critical role in supporting our neurosurgical providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations and optimal patient outcomes.

The Medical Assistant - Certified works under the direction of a licensed health care professional and performs various clinical and administrative tasks for the assigned area. The Certified Medical Assistant is expected to carry out the mission, vision, and values of Phoenix Children's. A continuous exhibition of professionalism, strong ethical conduct, and integrity must be carried out at all times. Interdepartmental collaboration, high standards of work performance, keeping a positive attitude and adhering to the policies and procedures of Phoenix Children's is essential. This position requires current and continuous certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) or American Medical Technologists (RMA) in the field of Medical Assisting.
