Position Overview
The Medical Assistant - Patient Recruitment Specialist (MA) plays a critical, high-impact role in driving patient participation in DayaMed’s CCM and RPM programs. This is a patient-facing position that blends clinical expertise with consultative enrollment skills, requiring confidence, empathy, and strong phone presence.
In this role, the Recruitment Specialist (MA) educates eligible patients, addresses concerns, overcomes objections, and successfully enrolls patients into CCM and RPM programs while maintaining clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and thorough documentation. Upon enrollment, the Recruitment Specialist (MA) initiates the patient’s care plan and completes a comprehensive medication reconciliation.
This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant who is goal-driven, persuasive yet empathetic, confident on the phone, and comfortable meeting daily performance metrics.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Enrollment & Outreach
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to eligible patients to explain CCM and RPM programs
- Educate patients on program benefits, services, and expectations in a clear and engaging manner
- Address patient questions, hesitations, and objections with professionalism and empathy
- Effectively “sell” program enrollment while maintaining a patient-centered and compliant approach
- Obtain verbal consent and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with CMS and company guidelines
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly enrollment goals
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform accurate medication reconciliation during enrollment calls
- Identify medication discrepancies, missing medications, and adherence concerns
- Initiate and document individualized care plans based on patient conditions and needs
- Collect and document relevant medical history and identified care gaps
- Escalate clinical concerns or red flags to appropriate clinical team members
Documentation & Systems
- Accurately document all patient interactions in internal systems
- Ensure enrollment documentation meets CCM/RPM compliance and billing requirements
- Utilize CRM systems, care management platforms, and internal tools efficiently
- Follow established SOPs for enrollment workflows, documentation, and data entry
Collaboration & Performance
- Work closely with clinical leadership, care managers, and operations teams
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Demonstrate continuous improvement through feedback and performance metrics
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strict HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
- Certified or registered Medical Assistant (required)
- Strong verbal communication skills with confidence on the phone
- Experience in patient outreach, enrollment, care coordination, or call-based clinical roles preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to balance empathy with goal-oriented conversations
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and meeting performance metrics
- Prior telehealth or remote care experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with CCM, RPM, or care management programs strongly preferred
- Familiarity with CMS documentation, compliance, and billing workflows a plus
Compensation
- Compensation is dependent on experience and geographic location (DOE).
- Pay will be determined based on relevant clinical experience, telehealth background, and demonstrated performance during the interview process.
Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year
