Medical Assistant (Part-Time) — Metabolize Health, Laguna Hills

Metabolize Health is a longevity and functional health clinic focused on helping patients invest in their long-term vitality. We're growing, and we're looking for a proactive, people-first Medical Assistant who's confident with blood draws and ready to jump in from day one.

Schedule: Part-time, minimum 20 and maximum 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support (the heart of this role):

• Perform blood draws and specimen processing with confidence and care
• Take and record patient vitals
• Perform EKGs
• Assist with patient flow and prepare patients for provider visits
• Keep treatment rooms clean, stocked, and ready to go

Front Desk Support:

• Greet patients warmly and help keep front-desk operations running smoothly
• Schedule appointments and check patients in
• Order and stock medical and office supplies as needed

Compliance:

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Comply with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or CPT1 (phlebotomy) license
• Phlebotomy skills strongly preferred — comfort and confidence drawing blood is essential
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
