Medical Assistant - Pop Health Specialist - FT - Draper

Granger Medical Clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant I to join our Draper location. The Medical Assistant I will assist the Population Health Manager with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Medicare Advantage and Commercial insurance bonus programs. In this role, you will show off your teamwork, prioritization, communication, and organizational skills. You will maintain accurate spreadsheets and data reports, assist in the development of workflow process, and analyze clinical data for accuracy and HEDIS gap closures. Each day is an opportunity to display your excellent attention to detail and your positive, team-oriented attitude. This role offers an office atmosphere with growth opportunities.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills, conflict resolution, integrity, empathy, compassion, patience.
  • Ability to multi-task and independently manage different projects and meet established deadlines.
  • Demonstration of planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented while maintaining a high level of efficiency and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to contribute to team projects as well as work independently.
  • Experience with and proven ability to learn various software applications.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology REQUIRED
  • Medical Assistant Certification REQUIRED
  • Familiarity with Pediatrics preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
