Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Baptist Primary Care Regency office in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.

This position requires floating between front office, back office and telephone triage/scheduling. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, assisting provider and obtaining vitals, as well as front office and phone triage/scheduling. Experience in phone triage, scheduling, and pediatric experience is a plus but not required. This is a big, busy office so we are looking for someone that can hit the ground running.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Rooming patients, completing tests
• Phone Triage, taking messages, returning calls
• Discharging and scheduling next visits

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
