Medical Assistant / Scribe

The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking a Medical Assistant / Scribe for a part-time position in Chattanooga, TN.

Education: Completion of a formal medical assistant training program and/or Medical Assistant certification.

Experience: Will consider recent graduate of medical assistant training program. At least two years experience in outpatient clinic setting desired.

BLS (CPR) certification required.

Responsible to assist physician and nurse in patient care, ensure efficient and effective patient care and flow through clinic and obtain complete and accurate information from patient. Responsibilities also include performing all clerical and information technology functions for a physician in a clinic setting, including the primary responsibility of the operation of the electronic health records and electronic dictation system. Must be able to anticipate the physician's needs to facilitate the flow of clinic.

Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

No nights/weekends/holidays.
