MEDICAL ASSISTANT / SCRIBE

Job Overview
We are seeking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Scribe to join our busy medical office. The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, able to handle a large workload and a high-pressure environment working alongside a physician who has 40+ years of experience. Must also demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care excellence.

Clinical Duties

• Collecting a patient’s medical history
• Preparing the patient for their examination
• Measuring vital signs, like temperature and blood pressure
• Assisting the gynecologist or obstetrician during appointments
• Explaining to the patient what will happen during their exam, treatment, or procedure
• Providing information to the patient about their medications, special diets, or anything else they’ve been prescribed
• Documenting and scribing the doctor’s note regarding patient encounters
• Reviewing doctor’s progress notes

Requirements

• Bachelors Preferred
• Driver's license REQUIRED
• Must own your own vehicle
• Must be able to speak fluently in either Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or Bengali.

This is not a casual or temporary job. Please do not apply if you have weekly spontaneous emergencies, are in school or in between jobs. We we will train you for this position so no special skills are required. What we are looking for is a hardworking, intelligent person who can keep up with the doctor's fast pace and all the inner workings of a busy office.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
