Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in daily clinical operations and patient care, including:

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in an ambulatory setting
Assist with patient intake, exams, procedures, and treatments
Administer approved medications and enter orders (labs, imaging, medications) into the EMR under provider direction
Document patient information, treatments, and education accurately and timely
Act as a liaison for patients—supporting scheduling, follow‑ups, and specialty referrals
Support quality initiatives and clinical process improvement efforts
Serve as a mentor and preceptor for Medical Assistants, supporting onboarding and skill development
Collaborate closely with clinical leadership, providers, and administrative staff in a team‑based environment

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

✅ Certified Medical Assistant with an active, recognized MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, etc.)
✅ BLS (Healthcare Provider) Certification – current
✅ Experience:

1 year required
2+ years preferred (more experience strongly valued)
✅ Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused clinical setting
✅ Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
✅ Passion for quality care, teamwork, and professional growth
