Medical Assistant (US-Healthcare)

Overview

Topline Resource Group (TLRG) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA) to provide remote medical support while working onsite in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have an MBBS degree and at least 6 month to 1 year of experience in clinical or administrative healthcare support.

This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while supporting healthcare providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist US healthcare providers with patient intake, charting, and documentation.
• Manage scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups for patient appointments.
• Perform verification of insurance benefits (VOBs) and support prior authorization requests.
• Communicate professionally with patients via phone, email, and EMR/telehealth portals.
• Support medical billing and payment posting by providing accurate documentation.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other US healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, billing, and compliance) to ensure seamless operations.
• Track patient inquiries, cancellations, and reschedules with high accuracy and timeliness.

Required Qualifications

• MBBS degree (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in clinical or medical administrative support.
• Proficiency with US EMR/EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and office software.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, NCQA, URAC, or US healthcare compliance guidelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in US healthcare BPO or medical outsourcing environments.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and medical documentation standards.
• Understanding of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and claim submissions.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused communication.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
