Medical/Drug Screen Collector & Client Services Assistant - Full time

KT Health Clinic is looking for an experienced, DEPENDABLE, hard-working individual with excellent people skills that is detail oriented has a strong work ethic and a POSITIVE attitude to join our Client Services staff as a Medical/Client Services Assistant and Drug Screen Collector and at our Springfield Missouri Clinic.

Hours : Monday through Friday, from 7:45am - 4:15 pm Full Time

Closed on Weekends and Holidays.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists Clinic Physician in onboarding & rooming patients in preparation for their physical exams.
• Performs collections and processes patient specimens for laboratory testing. to include collection, processing and testing of hair, nail, urine, saliva/cheek swab in our Clinic and out of clinic on location as needed. We will train and certify individuals with no collection experience.
• Enters and retrieves donor and test data accurately in Test Vault software.
• Interacts professionally with client companies and donors when reporting test results and answering questions in person or on phone and email
• Greet Donors/Client/Patients as they enter the clinic
• Assists General Manager & Health Clinic staff, physician and MRO with donor/patient processing, and entering results into the computer via Practice fusion/3bexam/testvault or other software.
• Assists General Manager & Health Clinic staff with administration of SAP Program
• Answer phones & calls Clients when needed. Good Phone skills are a Must
• Maintain orderly and confidential filing systems
• Performs On-Site/Location (out of clinic/mobile) collections as needed.

Essential Skills:

• Medical assistant certification from a qualified program
• Proficient on computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service, communication and Phone skills
• Positive attitude with the ability to have fun in a busy clinical environment.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with liability insurance
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, kneel, and carry up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to pass a Missouri Department of Family Services background check, be finger printed and pass a drug test.
• Must be or willing to become certified in DOT Urine/Breath collections and Hair/Nail and DNA Collections.

Preferred Skills:

• DOT certified collector
• FMCSA Clearinghouse Software Mastery
• Test Vault, 3bexam and Practice Fusion Software mastery
• Strong Organizational and Attention to Detail
• Certification from a healthcare training program
• Six months experience in the areas of collecting and processing specimens, in a medical setting.
