Medical Assistant/Hair Stylist

Lice Clinics of America - Portland, Clackamas, Vancouver, Salem, Tacoma, Silverdale and Bellevue. We provide medical head lice treatments in our salon-styled, family-friendly treatment centers. We are looking to hire quality individuals located close to our clinic to work on-call, 4-8 hour shifts 8 am to 8 pm 7 days per week, three to seven days a week. Great for someone who may be in the medical or hair industry or a stay at home parent that is looking for a part-time job. A quality candidate must be professional, patient, kind, calm, and have great attention to detail. The job is family-friendly and is very rewarding as it provides immediate relief to those suffering, especially children. Technicians work on an on-call basis with flexible scheduling and receive competitive compensation. Pay starts at $21.00/hr. The cost of our full treatment is $195.00 and the treatment takes about 1.5 hours. Total compensation of $24.00/hr. plus is possible with tips and commissions. Extensive paid training is provided. A background in hair care, lice removal, or medicine is a plus but not required. Technician duties include treatment using our FDA-cleared medical device, head checks, maintaining facility cleanliness, conducting customer checkout and payment and educating families regarding lice.
