Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting clinical documentation and administrative tasks. You will work closely with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient flow, gather vital information, and accurately document clinical encounters in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by documenting clinical notes and capturing relevant details in real-time using EHR systems.
• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, and updating demographic information.
• Support clinical workflows by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing supplies to ensure readiness for procedures.
• Conduct basic diagnostic tasks such as measuring blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; assist with X-ray and medical procedures when applicable.
• Assist with scribing notes

Qualifications

• Pre-med students who are looking for work for >1 year before going to medical school
• Proven experience or training in medical assisting, scribing, or related healthcare support roles within outpatient or hospital environments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding standards.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in documenting clinical encounters efficiently.
• Experience working in podiatry, medicine, dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence; capable of working effectively within fast-paced outpatient or inpatient clinics. Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
