As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing patient support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Organize and schedule appointments
• Arrange laboratory services
• Check with patients and type up patients charts
• Assist during medical examinations
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Perform vitals on patients of all ages (birth-99+)
• Perform cheek swab testing, nasal swabs, and other testing on patients.
• Answer patient portal messages
• Patient phone calls and voicemails
• Assist providers with prescription refills etc

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
