Medical Assistant/Receptionist

We’re looking for a Rockstar Clinical Liaison to support a busy, multifaceted, patient-centered integrative medicine clinic. Please read to the end of this listing for specific details on how to apply!

Brooklyn Acupuncture Medicine is a world class healing environment that supports the recovery and maintenance of health & wellness to the people of the downtown Brooklyn and surrounding communities.

The tasks and responsibilities f this position will vary from week to week and would involve everything from answering the phone to creating social media to assisting in hands-on patient care to more mundane things like vacuuming and wiping down door knobs. Your vocabulary doesn’t include “that is not my job.” Nothing great was ever built alone.

You should be a skilled and adaptable problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is autonomous, can follow directions with ease and might be considered a jill/ jack-of-all-trades as this role and its tasks are ever-changing. You love the telephone and find real joy in laughing and socializing with patients, making them feel like the only person in the room. You have a charming personality that can only be described as everyone’s favorite granddaughter or grandson. The deal candidate thrives and controlled chaos and has been known to never let him see you sweat we known in certain circles for your multitasking abilities, but always make people feel like they’re the only one in the room. When you crack a joke, you owe almost always nailed the punchline. You are authentic, outgoing and ready to commit to the long haul.

A minimum of 20 hours per week, weekday daytime schedule with major holidays off (rare weekend commitments when we are present at community events.)
