Medical Biller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of the billing cycle, including claim submissions, payment posting, denial management, and patient billing inquiries. You will work closely with providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance companies (electronic and paper).
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Handle appeals and resubmissions to ensure proper claim adjudication.
• Generate patient statements and assist with billing inquiries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and payer policies.
• Collaborate with the front desk and clinical staff to resolve billing and documentation issues.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all billing regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of medical billing experience (experience in [e.g., rheumatology, urgent care, or specialty practice] preferred).
• Software Skills: Experience with medical billing software (e.g., AdvancedMD) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of EOBs, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
