Medical Biller

We are looking for an experienced Pediatric Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures, be able to accurately process and submit claims, and be able to handle complex customer inquiries. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

• Process medical bills and insurance claims.
• Review patient records for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter patient information into the billing system.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
• Follow up on unpaid claims.
• Resolve discrepancies between patient records and insurance companies.
• Communicate with insurance companies to ensure payment of claims.
• Familiar with AthenaHealth EMR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
