Medical Biller

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing insurance verification, payment posting, and claim follow-up while ensuring compliance with healthcare billing standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with staff to resolve billing issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Post patient and insurance payments accurately
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims; correct or appeal as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and insurance requirements
• Stay current with evolving insurance payer policies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and office staff to resolve billing issues
• Perform other billing-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• CPB, CBCS, or equivalent certification preferred
• Prior medical billing experience is a plus
