Medical Biller

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete revenue cycle process, ensuring timely submission of claims, and maximizing reimbursements from insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit medical claims to insurance companies accurately and on time
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
• Handle claim rejections and denials efficiently
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Post payments and reconcile accounts
• Maintain accurate patient billing records
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and US healthcare billing regulations
• Work on AR (Accounts Receivable) and reduce aging
• Coordinate with internal teams for missing information

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in US medical billing
• Strong knowledge of:
• -CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes-Insurance claim processes-Denial management
• Experience with billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills (especially for US clients)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US healthcare providers
• Knowledge of different specialties (e.g., cardiology, dermatology, etc.)
• Prior experience in AR calling is a plus
