Experienced Medical Biller - Ophthalmology Clinic
Remote | 30 hours/week | $7.50/hour

We are hiring an experienced Medical Biller with a strong background in ophthalmology billing.

This role is best suited for someone with hands-on experience across the full billing cycle, including coding, charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denial follow-up, appeals, and A/R management. We are looking for someone who can work with accuracy, urgency, and strong ownership in a revenue-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of medical billing experience
• 1 to 2+ years of ophthalmology or eye care billing experience
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, EOB/ERA review, and payer requirements
• Experience with clearinghouses and EHR/practice management systems
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of billing compliance

Preferred

• CPC, COC, COB, or CCS-P certification
• Experience with Medicare LCD policies, optical/V-code, or ASC billing
• Strong Excel skills for reporting and A/R tracking
