Medical Billing and Coding

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing and Coding Specialist with at least 5-10 years of hands-on experience in U.S. healthcare billing and coding systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, as well as strong expertise in insurance claims, denials management, and EHR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, analyze, and accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.

• Prepare and submit clean insurance claims for reimbursement.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Handle claim denials, rejections, and follow-ups with payers.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other federal regulations.
• Work with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation.
• Generate and review billing reports for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in medical billing and coding (USA healthcare system).
• Certification (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) preferred.
• In-depth understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and billing procedures.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of EHR and billing software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
