Medical Billing Clerk

Our health care facility in Port Arthur is looking to hire a Billing Clerk to join our team! Our center has been proudly serving Southeast Texas for over 30 years by providing quality, affordable, and accessible primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to the community.

Responsibilities:

• Processing high volume of referrals;
• Verifying insurance benefits;
• Obtaining pre-certifications/authorizations as needed;
• Calculating patient’s estimated amount due based on insurance benefits;
• Notifying patients of estimated amount due.

Qualifications:

• Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in billing and/or referrals.
