Position: Medical Billing Intern (Accounts Receivable)
Location: Head Office, DHA, Lahore, Pakistan
Timings: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM (PKT | US EST 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
Department: Med Tek
Reports To: Team Lead

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Medical Billing Interns to join our Med Tek Department. This internship offers practical experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) — including claim submissions, denials, follow-ups, and reimbursements. You will be trained and mentored by experienced billing professionals while learning industry tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting claims using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Support follow-ups on unpaid or denied claims and help with resubmissions.
• Maintain billing and payment records under supervision.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update payer details.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in billing workflows.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Finance, or Healthcare preferred)
• Experience: Fresh graduates or individuals with 0–6 months of relevant experience
• Interest: Strong interest and basic know-how of Medical Billing or the Healthcare industry
• Skills:
• Basic understanding of RCM, EOBs, and claim processes (training provided)
• Willingness to learn billing software (Kareo, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
