Medical Billing Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Medical Billing Manager to lead our billing operations team in Doha.

Position Overview

The Medical Billing Manager will oversee the end-to-end medical billing process, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursements, and compliance with insurance regulations and healthcare billing standards. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and deep knowledge of medical coding and revenue cycle management.

You will play a key role in optimizing financial performance and ensuring smooth coordination between clinical, administrative, and insurance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the medical billing and revenue cycle operations team
• Oversee accurate submission of insurance claims and follow-up on reimbursements
• Ensure compliance with healthcare insurance policies and regulatory requirements
• Analyze billing data to identify errors, delays, and revenue leakage
• Coordinate with medical coders, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
• Resolve denied or rejected claims and implement corrective actions
• Develop and improve billing workflows and internal control processes
• Prepare financial and billing performance reports for management
• Train and support staff on billing procedures and system updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare finance (required)
• Strong knowledge of insurance systems, claim processing, and medical coding standards
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a billing department (preferred)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in billing software and MS Office applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of Qatar healthcare insurance systems is an advantage
