Medical Billing Representatives

Location: Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi (Preference for residents of Bahria, DHA, or nearby areas)

Responsibilities

• Process and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and government payers.
• Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure correct patient and payer information is recorded.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Post payments, adjustments, and denials into the billing system.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status, appeals, and payment issues.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and payer-specific billing guidelines.
• Work with internal teams to correct coding or documentation issues affecting claim processing.
• Prepare and submit claim appeals when necessary.
• Generate billing reports and track claim status to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and

Qualifications/Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in medical billing, healthcare revenue cycle, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of medical billing processes, claim submission, and payment posting.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Experience with medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, claim denials, and appeals processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and patient data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving billing issues.
• Good communication skills for interacting with insurance representatives and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Timings

• 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Summer)
• 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (Winters)
