Medical Billing Sales Agent

We are seeking a results-driven Medical Billing Sales Agent to promote and sell our medical billing services to healthcare providers, clinics, and medical practices. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new healthcare clients (physicians, specialty clinics, group practices, hospitals).
  • Present and explain medical billing services, including claims submission, denial management, AR follow-up, credentialing, and revenue cycle optimization.
  • Conduct sales calls, virtual meetings, and in-person presentations.
  • Develop customized proposals based on client needs and practice size.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Track leads, follow-ups, and pipeline activity in CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations, insurance guidelines, and billing compliance standards (HIPAA, CMS policies).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare sales, or revenue cycle management sales.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and insurance processes.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling to small and mid-sized medical practices.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely.
