Medical Billing Specialist

We are looking for an organized and experienced medical biller to join our clinic. You will be responsible initiating payment processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in medical billing, medical insurance regulations, and at responding to patient and insurance inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Capturing and posting charges
• Sending claims to payers / Submitting billing data to insurance providers
• Processing claims and payments
• Resolving denials
• Responding to audit requests
• Following up on late or missed payments
• Confirming patient benefits and insurance
• Answering phones, taking & returning messages
• Responding to patient's billing questions

Qualifications:

• Experience as medical biller or related healthcare administrative position
• Excellent communication skills / strong customer services skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong computer skills needed
• Electronic Medical/Health Records experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
