MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST

Skyline Medical Billing (an entity of Woundcare Specialists) is a growing dynamic company focused on helping physicians with their medical billing. We are located in Pleasant Grove, Utah and currently have a regional presence. Yes, we are focused on accuracy, timeliness and learning, but we also believe in having FUN! Individual assignments are always given with a team environment focus allowing for collaboration and training.

We are looking for someone who is detail focused, timely, and genuinely has a positive “can do” attitude. Experience in medical billing and knowledge of medical coding is preferred but not required. This position is FULL-TIME (40 hours per week) with a flexible schedule between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, IN OFFICE (Not Remote), Monday through Friday. Pay ranges between $18 - $23 per hour based on experience. Health benefits, paid time off and holiday pay are also offered after a probationary period.

Responsibilities:

• Review medical charting/coding (training available)
• Follow up with insurance claims
• Work insurance denials
• Post payments
• Submit claims
• Maintain a professional manner at all times
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in medical billing and knowledge of medical coding required
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding problem solving and organizational abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a dedication to putting team first
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced office
