Job Summary: The Medical Verification Specialist is responsible for verifying medical records, insurance details, and patient information to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness. This role supports healthcare providers, administrative teams, and patients by ensuring that medical documentation is correct and meets regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and verify medical records, documents, and patient information for accuracy and completeness.

· Confirm patient insurance coverage and eligibility for medical services.

· Liaise with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve discrepancies or missing information.

· Ensure compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA or local regulations).

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in medical databases and systems.

· Prepare reports on verification activities, errors, or inconsistencies.

· Support audits and quality assurance processes related to medical documentation.

· Provide guidance to team members regarding verification standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, life sciences, or related field preferred but not required.

· Previous experience in medical records, health insurance, or clinical administration preferred.

· Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and healthcare procedures.

· Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and database management.

· Excellent written and spoken English language skills are essential to communicate clearly with patients, providers, and insurers.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and insurers.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information.

Timings: 7 PM to 4 AM

Working Days: 5 Days a week
