Location: Las Vegas, NV
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM

We are a patient-focused medical clinic committed to providing exceptional care and a welcoming environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller Supervisor to join our team and ensure accurate and timely billing processes.

Position Summary:
The Medical Billing Supervisor is responsible for leading daily billing operations for both inpatient and outpatient services. This includes supervising billing staff, monitoring claim submission, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines, managing denials, and supporting revenue cycle improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide daily oversight to billing and revenue cycle staff.
  • Ensure accurate and timely claim submission for inpatient and outpatient services, including facility and professional claims (UB-04 and CMS-1500).
  • Review and resolve billing errors, denials, and rejections to maximize reimbursement.
  • Monitor aging reports and oversee follow-up on unpaid claims to reduce AR days.
  • Coordinate with clinical, coding, and administrative teams to ensure proper documentation and coding.
  • Maintain current knowledge of payer rules, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, and managed care contracts.
  • Develop and implement billing policies and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Provide staff training, performance evaluations, and coaching to ensure high-quality work.
  • Generate reports and track KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership on revenue cycle improvement projects and audits.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of medical billing experience, including both inpatient and outpatient billing.
  • Minimum 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory billing role.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding, claim forms (UB-04 & CMS-1500), and payer requirements.
  • Proficiency with EHR and billing software systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
  • Certification in medical billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CPB, CMRS).
  • Experience in an FQHC or multi-specialty environment.
