Medical Billing/Coding, Dawsonville Podiatry Office. Experience Required!

Our growing practice is currently seeking a billing team member.

Medical Biller/Coder wanted for Podiatry office in Dawsonville GA by the Outlet Mall. 40 hours/week. Get at least 10% in raises within the first year! Experienced Podiatry Biller/Coder only or do not apply. No exceptions!!! Must have experience in Medical AR, billing and coding. Salary based on experience in podiatry or similar field. MUST BE COVID-19 VACCINATED!!!

EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL BILLING REQUIRED!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!_

We are looking for a high-energy, out going personality! Candidate must have proven experience in medical billing/coding including proper use of modifiers. Must have experience following up on any denied claims and working AR.

Daily Duties will include:

• First and foremost, proper billing (ICD-10) and coding (CPT-4) including a knowledge of ALL appropriate modifiers.
• Resubmitting corrected claims to various medical insurance companies electronically.
• Answers questions from patients, clerical staff and insurance companies regarding coverages and charges.
• Identify and resolve patient billing questions.
• Performs various collection actions including contacting patients by phone, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers.
• Processes payments from insurance companies.
• Run Financial Reports as needed by management.
• Various office task to back up office staff including (customer service, data entry, reception, etc.)
