About Virtelligence

Virtelligence is a growing US healthcare outsourcing company providing end-to-end Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services. We are looking for a detail-oriented and compliance-focused Medical Coder to join our coding team.

Position Overview

The Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately assigning CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes while ensuring compliance with US payer guidelines and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses and procedures
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and payer regulations
• Review clinical documentation to support accurate coding
• Identify and correct coding errors to reduce claim denials
• Collaborate with AR team to resolve coding-related denials
• Maintain productivity and quality standards

Requirements

✔ CPC / Certified Medical Coder preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of US coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
✔ 2+ years of medical billing/coding experience (US market)
✔ Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
✔ Good English communication skills
✔ Willingness to work in Night Shift (US time zone)
