We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, a well‑established
EMS / Ambulance Services organization
, for an experienced
Ambulance Biller
to join their team. This role is critical to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely billing for emergency and non‑emergency transports.
Key Responsibilities

Perform end‑to‑end
ambulance billing
for
BLS transports, MICU and ALS.

Process claims accurately using
TriTech software
-
Review PCRs, PCS documentation, and insurance information for completeness and compliance.

Submit and follow up on claims with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.

Manage rejections, denials, and appeals to maximize reimbursement.

Ensure adherence to EMS billing regulations and payer guidelines.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve documentation or coding issues.

Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of all billing records.
Required Qualifications
-
Proven experience in Ambulance Billing
(EMS industry required) Will
NOT
consider medical billing in lieu of Ambulance Billing (Required)

Strong understanding of
BLS, MICU and ALS billing
-
Hands‑on experience with
TriTech billing software
-
Knowledge of EMS documentation requirements, including PCS
-
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing

High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
