Position Overview:

MED AI is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Medical Coding Trainees to join our growing team in Chakwal. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates from healthcare backgrounds who are interested in building a career in medical coding and healthcare revenue cycle management.

The selected candidates will receive practical training in medical coding standards, healthcare documentation review, and coding compliance while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines to medical records and healthcare documentation.
• Review patient charts and clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in assigning appropriate medical codes under the supervision of senior coders.
• Identify and report documentation discrepancies for clarification and correction.
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and coding standards.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software effectively.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and coding audits.
• Stay updated on coding guidelines, industry standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with coding, billing, and clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding practices.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Fresh graduates with any of the following healthcare degrees are encouraged to apply:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• BS Nursing or other relevant healthcare qualifications

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation.

• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding concepts is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn specialized coding software.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Working Hours:

• Summer Schedule: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Winter Schedule: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
